On the 26th of November, 2011, The Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (HITA) with its Regional Office in Podgorica, in excellent cooperation with the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly organized a business forum at Hotel Rogner, Tirana. The aim was to establish direct contacting of nearly twenty Hungarian and nearly twenty Albanian companies. The forum is mainly connected to the Tirana International Trade Fair, which Hungarian participant company presence is also organized by HITA.
The companies are covering a large variety of high quality Hungarian products and services from different industries such as: packaging, environmental protection, construction, plastic, vehicle, energetic and food industry.
The Hungarian Government realized the great importance of the expansion of the Hungarian SMEs to the Balkan markets. With the support of Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President Mr. Nikolin Jaka has the HITA the ideal partner in the efforts. The flexible and swift work is based on the Tirana Chamber’s Budapest representative; Mr. Avni Hafuzi and the HITA Regional Office, Mr. Ervin Szél Counsellor. In accordance with the aims of the Hungarian government HITA supports the foreign market presence of the Hungarian companies with different tools. One of them is the organization of such trade fair shows and meetings.
The main purpose of the program supported by HITA is:
- exploration of foreign market potential
- intensification of economic and trade relations established in the last two years
- expansion of Hungarian export
- enhancement of new co-operation forms and investment possibilities.
The event received a high rank support jointly opened by Mr. Nikolin Jaka, Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry President and H.E. János Huszár Dr. Ambassador of Hungary in Tirana.
Albanian governmental organizations Presidents as AIDA, Elmeida Guria, Confindustria, George Buxhuku representations were highly appreciated because of the company effort fulfilment help on the swiftly growing Albanian market.
